Never in our sixty-five years have we had the good fortune of finding two craftsmen who “do it all” with great skill, good humor, and excellent work ethic. Jim & Mark fully renovated three bathrooms for us this summer (2014), and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

They also, on short notice, did a dishwasher installation that required special mechanical, plumbing, and electrical talents. In addition, next to the dishwasher was an unused trash masher, and they converted that space into a functional storage cabinet using a recycled door that matched our existing cabinetry (1980s)—perfectly!

These guys take pride in their work and are a pleasure to have in the home. We will recommend them to family & friends.

Thank you both for all of your help and support through a very difficult time. As you know while away for a long weekend in August I came home to an ugly mess. My refrigerator ice maker hose (plastic) burst and ran for at least three days. My kitchen was flooded, my basement under water and laundry room was like a "rain forest". Although my kitchen and townhouse just turned 30 years old I wasn't looking forward to all the damage and rebuilding. I contacted the Service Master Company who immediately dispatched a crew to evaluate and begin the clean up. They began to tear out flooring, carpet, drywall, and kitchen cabinets, Ugh! The drying process lasted 14 days, and I was displaced from the home, staying with friends. I contacted Mark Chase after the third day and he was able to come that same day! He assessed the damage and began to look at a solution with in his schedule. Mark and Jim made my job much more enjoyable. They helped me through a very tough time, working with me on new cabinets, flooring, even a new design layout for my kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased with these guys. All the special features we jointly discussed and dreamed about are now reality. These guys made this ugly situation the most successful renovation I could have ever imagined.
I would "Highly" recommend Mark & Jim to anyone who is thinking about a renovation, reconstruction or whatever it is. They can do it!

Proliant Construction knows how to get it done!  Mark and Jim are personable, friendly, tuned in, hard working, focused and above all-EXCELLENT craftsmen!  The work that they completed in our kitchen and family room was WELL beyond our expectations.  Everyone hears the horror stories of construction gone bad….but you won’t have this with these two guys!

We recently had our powder room updated and redone. We heard about Proliant Construction from a coworker. On meeting Mark and Jim we knew we had our guys!  From the get go they were personable and professional. Even though our job was a small one, they treated it like it was as important to them as it was to our family. Both are very knowledgeable about new product lines and the tried and true ones!  Mark and Jim surprisingly suggested ways to save us money. We reused some pieces we already had! They were so great working around our busy household. The remodeling messiness was never an issue. They were all over it-shop vacuuming and getting rid of what they were done with. Mark and Jim are efficient, hard working, friendly and prompt. Mark and Jim are trained professionals who we would recommend in a heartbeat. They finished our project ahead of schedule! A few days after they had finished at our home, we found a package by the side door with a note. These guys had found a perfect mirror and shelf in their travels and wanted to know if we liked them. Mark came back the next day to hang them for us. Just another example of them going the extra mile to satisfy a customer!

We experienced a kitchen fire in May, which resulted in our kitchen being gutted down to the studs. To add to the despair of the situation, most of the contractors we contacted couldn’t even come out to provide an estimate for several days and told us that it would be several weeks before they could begin the job. When we called Proliant Construction, Mark agreed to come out right away to assess the situation. He listened to our requests and had computer-generated drawings to us within days. Both Mark and Jim were wonderful to work with throughout the project. They provided a project timeline and delivered as stated, without the typical runaround. The quality of their work was second to none. They were meticulous, paying attention to even the smallest detail. In fact, after the project was completed, Mark contacted us to let us know that he had order a new cabinet door to replace the one that was 1/8” too short. We hadn’t even noticed the issue!

I can’t imagine a better team for a home renovation or construction project than Jim and Mark.  After hearing about Proliant from a friend, we hired them in 2012 to finish our basement.  They listened to our (sometimes confusing) list of needs and wants and came up with a design that worked great for us.  While conducting the work, they were professional, timely and incredibly friendly.  In fact, we missed having them around when the work was complete!  We hired them again in 2013 to build a new outdoor deck and staircase and they once again impressed us with their thoughtfulness, attention to detail and high quality workmanship.  In fact, that deck may be the best built part of our house!  In both cases, Jim was very clear and fair about pricing and scheduling- -there were no unpleasant surprises.

I look forward to using Proliant Construction again in the future.  It is great to know contractors who are smart, trustworthy and enjoyable to have in your home!
